I am a professional travel nanny who has been working in childcare since 2017. I’ve been traveling the globe with babies, toddlers, and kids for the past four years, helping families make the most out of their vacations and being there when they need an extra hand. For part of each summer, I work as a camp counsellor and film-making teacher at an international ESL summer camp. I did my undergrad (film production) in 2016 and masters (creative writing) in Southern England in 2020, and have been full time nannying around the world since.

I’ve had the privilege of helping families in Ireland, Cote d’Azur, Hawaii, Mexico, the BVI, California, North Carolina, and more. I have homeschooled children while their family summers in France, worked as a live-aboard nanny on multi-week yacht trips, planned and carried out Disneyland Paris and California trips, accompanied my charges at weddings and funerals, flown solo with children on +9 hour flights, proxy parented for up to two weeks while the parents were out of the country, and cared for sick children. I’ve flown economy, business, first, and private with children as young as 6 months and as old as 12 years. I’m an American citizen and currently based in the States, but I’m passport ready and can travel anywhere in the world.

I don’t believe adventures have to stop after having kids. In fact, I think adding to the family means the start of a whole new world of adventure! That's where I come in. I take care of the minute and tedious details so that you can enjoy family time and time away from the kids, while knowing that they are in safe hands and are having a blast. It’s a lot easier for parents to relax and enjoy vacation when you know the dishes will be done, the clothes will be folded, and the toys will be packed up neatly by the time they get back to the house.

I’ve nannied on over 170 flights ( 60+ of those long-haul) and counting, so as you can imagine I’ve collected quite the bag of tricks! Travel with kids can be challenging but with enough preparation and the right attitude ( i.e. a fully packed kids bag and caffeine) it's also incredibly rewarding and even fun. 

My personal childcare style is energetic, honest, and full of laughter. I love a good song and dance, and I believe early learning is best achieved through play, art, child-led experiences, and narration to help little minds grow. I place great importance in safety and always follow water/sun safety, safe sleep practices, and the National Traffic Safety Associations car seat guidelines. If you have specific safety rules you observe as a family, I am happy to uphold those as well.

About Me as a Person

In my free time I surf, write, and rummage through vintage shops. I’m also a museum fiend, and am very close to having attended every museum in London thats open to the public. ( The cinema museum in Kensington has eluded me so far but I’ll get there one day.) I’m not naturally a morning person but years of summer camp have trained me to be up and ready at 6 with a cold brew coffee in hand, especially if there is a beautiful sunrise to be seen. I love music and go to as many concerts as I am able to.

When I’m not on a travel nanny trip, I live at home in Indiana with my family, our two Great Pyrenees, my childhood dog, and a cat who runs the whole show. I’m the youngest of three girls and my sisters both live nearby with their families so I spend most off duty weekends with my nieces and nephew, building a new cardboard masterpiece each week. I’m also a licensed substitute teacher and keep up on continuing professional development courses.
