Hands on, integrated education custom made for your family

Whether your child is preparing for an admissions test, carrying out e-learning from their school, or you are looking to supplement with travel specific lessons, I can work with your family to create a custom curriculum based around your child’s interests, their learning goals, and the unique opportunities based on where we are.

If you’re child is studying for a specific schools admissions test, please let me know the school and if there are any specific study guides you want me to follow.

I try to make learning as interesting as possible. For me, that means bringing movement and creativity into the “classroom”. I come from a family of teachers and school counsellors so our group chat is always overflowing with new ideas and trial +error pictures.

Some of the things we have done in the past are:

-practiced our measuring skills by creating slime

-wrote a script, created storyboards, filmed, and edited a short film

-visited the local fire station and learned about fire safety ( and took a picture on the truck!)

-put on our architect hats and followed a blue print in order to make a vocabulary road

-completed a division scavenger hunt to find a prize at the end (homemade ice cream)

-practiced reading aloud by recording “ audiobooks” of younger siblings favourite books

-created our own lego creation and wrote an instruction manual on how to build it
